History has it that there was a time when Sanjay Leela Bhansali would not have done a film without Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Whether it was the epic tale of rebellious love in 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam', the poignant story of 'Devdas' or the emotionally testing 'Guzaarish', Sanjay always had the Bachchan bahu on his stride.

But with Priyanka Chopra entering the scene, all equations seems to have changed. Sanjay, who collaborated with Priyanka for his next productional venture - a biopic on MC Mary Kom is all smiles about the actress. From showering love on her at the trailer launch to making sure 'Mary Kom' gets the grandest release, Sanjay has left no stone unturned to turn Priyanka's most challenging role take the best shape. Sources even confirmed that Sanjay sat through the editing process to take the film and Priyanka's role to another level altogether

Priyanka, who had previously done the raunchy and sensuous item number, 'Ram Chahe Leela' in the director's last film 'Goliyon ki Raasleela-Ram Leela', is very keen on working with the maverick director. The love and affection between the two has taken the industry by surprise because Sanjay who never has hosted a party at his home recently organised a birthday bash for Piggy Chops, inviting all his and her friends over to his house.

Priyanka, too believes in Sanjay and has gone on records to blindly sign Sanjay's 'Bajirao Mastani', knowing that she would not be playing the lead role. After Aishwarya, it was thought that Deepika Padukone who wowed everyone with her stellar Leela act and has also signed Sanjay's 'Bajirao Mastani', is the new muse. But Priyanka Chopra seemed to have toppled both Aishwarya and Deepika to claim that coveted place in Sanjay's heart.
