Priyanka Chopra just announced that 'Quantico' WILL have a season 3!

There have been a lot of speculations about the fate of American TV series Quantico that stars Priyanka Chopra as the protagonist Alex Parrish. Rumours were rife that the show is likely to be scrapped post the end of season 2 owing to low ratings. But looks like there's good news for all the PC fans out there.

The actress just confirmed that season 3 of Quantico is happening. Priyanka took to her Twitter account and shared that she's wrapped up the shoot of Quantico 2 and thanked her fans for their love and support. "Andddd... that's a wrap on #Quanticoseason2   Thank you, our lovely audience for all the love & support always! See you on the other side!" she wrote.

She further added that she will be back as Alex Parrish soon in Quantico 3, writing, "So excited about the season 3 pick up for #Quantico congrats to everyone who made it happen! #AlexParrish will be back soon.."

As per a report on The Hollywood Reporter Quantico's season three will be happening with a few changes. For starters, the show has been renewed for a short span of 13 episodes and will also see the exit of the showrunner Josh Safran, informed the report. 

Safran told The Hollywood Reporter, "My deal on the show was two years only and it’s up. I’m leaving the show in a good place and capable hands." Safran will remain on board as a consultant and will make a shift to developing new projects, added the report.
