Writing a tribute to Markle for Time's 100 Influential people list, Chopra wished her friend 'a happily ever after.'
The details about Meghan Markle's bridal party are still under wrap, but Priyanka Chopra may have just added brownie points in her favour by writing a lovely note for the royal-bride-to-be when the former was included in Time's 100 most influential people in the world list.
Every year, Time magazine picks 100 people who have influenced, shaped the world in one way or other. These people come from varied backgrounds ranging from the business world, arts & culture, sports, politics, humanitarian and so on. For this year, Meghan Markle and her fiance, Prince Harry both made it in the list that also has people like Virat Kohli, Roger Federer, Tiffany Haddish, Rihanna, Donald Trump, and many more.
These dignitaries are written about by the people close to them. Hence Priyanka Chopra was picked as the person to describe Meghan Markle. Both the actresses became friends when they were shooting their shows -- Quantico for Priyanka Chopra and Suits for Meghan Markle -- in Toronto. They became thick as thieves in no time and that gave Priyanka Chopra the liberty to call out a sexist cover story done by Vanity Fair magazine.
Writing for Time magazine, Chopra described Markle as 'princess for the people.'
