Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is possibly the next big release of the year and anticipation levels have already sky-rocketed. While the makers have already decided that the trailer of the Salman Khan-Sonam Kapoor starrer will be attached to Akshay Kumar's Singh is Bliing, the first poster will be unveiled soon. Here are the details.
Music Pehle?
A source reveals, "The team is planning to release the music of the film before the trailer. It's a much thought about thing." Why? "Salman who recently released Hero had even told at a recent media event that they did a mistake by not releasing the music months before the film's release. With PRDP, he is very confident about the songs and he wants the songs to catch up much before the film's release in November." This will be a traditional format which filmmakers used two decades back. The source adds, "Salman will outdo Akshay who revealed a song first for Singh is Bliing. He will release the entire music album." When should the music album be out? "In a week," our source claims.
Poster? Sabse pehle!
While Salman indeed has plans to unveil the music for the film, the film's poster will launched before anything else. Our insider reveals, "The poster should be out by Saturday or latest by Sunday evening." And it will be Salman who will officially unveil it for the world to see. "Salman had tweeted the logo of PRDP few weeks back. He will tweet the first poster of the film as well." Will it have both Salman and Sonam? "Yes, the first poster will give you a candid first look into their chemistry in the film," our source informs. So whoever was waiting for the PRDP poster, the wait will end in a day or two for sure.
Trailer kab?
A lot has been spoken of the film's first theatrical trailer. With around two months left for the film's release, promotions will begin in full swing from October first week. The theatrical trailer will indeed be attached to Singh is Bliing. But contrary to reports which state that the film's trailer will be launched digitally on September 30, the trailer will only come out a day later. "The team has planned a grand spectacle of sorts for the trailer launch. It will be a grand affair and the first theatrical trailer will be launched on October 1, in true Rajshri style." If you are wondering whether there will be a Sheesh Mahal built for the launch, you are absolutely correct. Reveals our source, "The main climax of the film happens in an amazing Sheesh Mahal that the team built in Karjat. The entire team is planning to launch the trailer in a similar atmosphere to give a taste of the huge canvas and the grandeur the film will be known for."
