Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia to sort out their mess

Sometimes you over react. Or take a rash decision in the heat of the moment. It's human tendency. Is that what happened in Preity Zinta? While there are rumours that Priety is on a vendetta against Ness, who is now reportedly dating another actress, it is far from the truth.

Here is what happened. Ness is known to lose his top. It has happened more than one occasion. When it happened again, in front of her friends and just before a crucial match, Priety wasn't going to let it pass. She wanted to do something drastic and ensure that these fights/arguments ended forever. The only way she thought she could get this point across was by filing a police complaint.

Says a friend close to the actress, "She never thought it would blow up this way. She didn't realise that the section that the cops would file would molestation and outraging a woman's modesty, which is really serious. And she never accused Ness of that. Her complaint was more of bad behaviour and abusive. She went quietly and filed the compliant. She thought the cops would question him and that would act as a deterrent in the future. However, the press got hold of the information and it got ugly."

There were debates on national tv and character assasniation of Ness and even fingers being pointed at Preity. There was speculation that she wanted to sell out her share of the team so she had done this. Another report suggested this was her way of getting Ness out of the team ownership; anyway his family has never approved of it and there would be pressure on him to walk away from it now. Meanwhile while all these reports were doing the rounds friends of the ex-couple have talked to them and a truce is being discussed. And it will most likely happen soon.
