Pratyusha Banerjee suicide: Rahul Raj Singh claims abortion was 'mutual decision'

Pratyusha Banerjee's alleged suicide has brought her fiance under the spotlight. Rahul Raj Singh is being accused of abetment of suicide. Every day there are new details and fresh accusations surfacing regarding the case.

The recent revelation of the post-mortem reports said that Pratyusha the Balika Vadhu star may have been pregnant and undergone a recent abortion.

Rahul Raj Singh has now agreed that Pratyusha was pregnant and they mutually decided to terminate the pregnancy because they were not married and were only living in together.

Talking to Times of India, Rahul said that he went with Pratyusha to the doctor for the abortion. Because of the long waiting, Pratyusha told him to leave. But he went to the doctor to get Pratyusha's prescribed medication the following day.

He said that they decided to abort because they were planning to get married in November and they were thinking about their future. 

Pratyusha was found dead in her house in Goregaon on April 1.
