The Pratyusha Banerjee suicide case is getting murkier by the day. Both parties accusations seem to be never-ending. After Rahul Raj Singh made some counter-allegations against Kamya Punjabi and Neeraj Gupta who supposedly claimed to be his lawyer, the actress hit out at Rahul.
Rahul said that Kamya had borrowed money from the late TV star and failed to return it to her. Kamya dismissed all such rumours and put the records straight. She said, "BCL ka playoff season aaya tha TV par. I am the owner of Jaipur Raj Joshilay team in the cricket tournament. Pratyusha, being my friend, was the brand ambassador of the team. She wanted that her dad's NGO be promoted through our team since there was media involved. She had given me Rs 2.5 lakh as the sponsorship amount. We had made standees and we did many media interviews during that time. Borrowing Rs 2.5 lakh is different and sponsoring a team are two different things. I have proof to show that it was sponsorship money. Aaj tak aisi naubat nahin aayi hai ki udhaar maangna pade. This happened around three years ago when Rahul wasn't even in Pratyusha's life. Tell him to get his facts right. Jaipur Raj Joshilay is my team and I have bank accounts of the team. Jo humne standees banwaye thay woh bhi humne NGO ko waapis kar diye thay."
Now, after all this, Kamya has made some sensational revelations. She has claimed that she's been getting threat calls for standing up against Rahul. Speaking in the issue, she told Mid-Day, "Yes, I am getting threat calls. But I am Kamya Punjabi, I am not scared of anyone. Rahul is targeting me. You think I care? He knows that I will not give up easily. He knows that I am fearless and what I am saying is on behalf of several others in the industry. There are many out there who do not want to come out in the open, so they are telling me. I am their voice too."
