Prasthanam director to co-direct Baahubali prequel next

South director Deva Katta is currently remaking his Telugu hit Prasthanam in Hindi with Sanjay Dutt, who also doubles up as the producer. Even as the movie’s second schedule is underway in Lucknow, the director has bagged his next project. He will be teaming up with blockbuster director SS Rajamouli for The Rise Of Sivagami, the prequel to the mammoth hit series, Baahubali.

Deva Katta, who will be co-directing the series comprising three seasons on an international online streaming platform, enthuses, “The Baahubali series made a huge impact with its unique storytelling. This prequel promises to amp up the excitement of Baabubali fans. I’m honoured to be a part of this project and work with Rajamouli sir.”
