On Monday, After Hrs reported that Arjun Rampal had been dropped from entertainment management company Exceed World’s list of celebrity clients on the request of Hrithik Roshan.

However, according to the agency, Hrithik had nothing to do with his ex-buddy Arjun’s ouster.

Afsar Zaidi from Exceed clarifies, “It’s been nearly a decade of working with Hrithik and there has been no interference from him — be it expanding our talent portfolio, or starting any new venture.

We being pressurised to disassociate with any artiste by Hrithik is completely untrue.”

When asked why Arjun, who has been a high-profile client, dropped? Zaidi clarifies, “In the transitory process of establishing Exceed, our new venture, we collectively had taken a call of becoming more niche and strategic. The resource plan was simple to invest all our energies in selective brands/artistes. Rather than doing injustice to a talent and his or her business it was better to disassociate.”
