Post the success of Sultan, one producer who is spending time re-working his marketing strategy is Aamir Khan. His film Dangal revolves around a wrestler and his daughters while in Sultan, Salman played a wrestler. Says a source, “Aamir, who recently shot for a promotional video for Dangal is holding meetings with his creative team as to how to market and promote the film in a different way.

He feels that instead of it centring around wrestling, it should be about women empowerment and how a wrestler encouraged his daughters to achieve fame. The girls went on to represent India at the 2010 Commonwealth games, where they won a gold and a silver medal each.

That is why Aamir shot the video with his daughters, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra, who play Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari and also unveiled the second poster with all his four daughters, with the caption — ‘Mhaari chhoriyan chhoro se kam hai ke’ (Are daughters any lesser than boys?)”
