Pixar fans never miss the beginning of a movie because they are always treated to a short film made by geniuses in the world of animation. The studio's recent movie Finding Dory was not an exception. It opened with a short film called Piper about a sandpiper fledgling.
The adorable short chronicles the journey of a baby sandpiper to becoming independent. Piper learns how to look for food and be smart about it. But it takes time and some amazing experiences to reach a conclusion.
Ahead of Finding Dory's DVD release, the short film directed by Alan Barillaro has made its way to the Internet.

Pixar shorts have been nominated numerous time for various prestigious awards, winning several of them. Piper shows all the potential of becoming another feather in their cap.
