Pia Trivedi speaks out against animal abuse

Pia Trivedi who has long been an animal lover, with six dogs of her own, recently tweeted against China who’s known for abusing dogs. The model posted a link showing dogs caged up, four to one cage in Chongqing, China, where they were being transported to be killed for meat. She says, “What touched me most was that most of these dogs had collars on them, they belonged to people and were part of someone’s family.

How can you do this to animals that love you unconditionally? I think people will only wake up when one day when it’s humans locked up in cages.” Pia has been working with PETA for a long time now, and also feeds stray dogs and cats in her area and supports animal NGOs. Here’s hoping more prominent figures come forward for animal rights.
