Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem name daughter Luna Encinas Cruz

Penelope Cruz and husband Javier Bardem have named their newborn daughter Luna Encinas Cruz, it has been revealed.

According to a Spanish magazine, the Oscar winning couple named their baby girl after the moon and has already registered the name, the New York Daily News reported.

Keeping with the Spanish tradition, Luna, who shares her birthday with the royal baby, takes on both her father and mother’s paternal last names.

Luna was born on July 22 in Madrid, at the Ruber International hospital.
