According to gossip website TMZ, Kim, 32, and Kanye, 35, have already started developing the property to fit their needs and are planning to install a gym, movie theatre, bowling alley, hair and make-up salon, indoor and outdoor pool and their own basketball court.
A source revealed to People, "It's so exciting for them. The house is gorgeous. And they really wanted and needed the privacy."
The luxury neighbourhood is already home to stars such as actress Jennifer Aniston and founder of the Girls Gone Wild entertainment franchise Joe Francis.
Kim and her rapper boyfriend were recently said to have turned down a $3 million magazine offer for the first photos of their baby and the reality star has also been offered $250,000 to host pregnancy website MyPregnancy.com.
The pair, however, do intend to share the pregnancy and first moments as parents on Kim's show Keeping Up with the Kardashians and spin-off programme Kourtney and Kim Take Miami.
