Pakistani Salman Khan wants to go jail in place of Bhaijaan

Pakistan's Salman Khan has offered to go to jail after the Bollywood actor was convicted and sentenced to five years in prison on Wednesday.

A segment on Samaa TV showed a Salman Khan lookalike, who is also a huge fan of the actor, asking to be jailed. Distraught over the actor's conviction in the hit-and-run case, the fan went to the police station in Hajipura, Pakistan and asked that he placed under arrest.

While the report did not reveal his name, the fan says, "How unjust it is that Salman Khan has to go to jail and I remain free."  The Bollywood doppleganger wanted to go through the same hardship that his beloved actor was going through. 

It isn't clear whether the fan is serious in his distress over the conviction. Watch and tell us what you think:
