As a fallout of MNS banning Pakistani artistes in India, distributors across the border are refusing to release the Dhoni biopic in Pakistan. A tabloid reports that IMGC Global Entertainment, a Pakistan-based distribution company was supposed to release the film, but its chairman is quoted saying, “Amid current tension between the two countries, we have decided not to release the film.”

The Uri attack led to MNS threatening the Pakistani artistes Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan and others to leave the country within 48 hours. They have also been protesting against Karan Johar’s upcoming flick Ae Dil Hai Mushkil that stars Fawad and Raees that stars Mahira.

The biopic MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, that stars Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead, will hit theatres in India on September 30.
