'Padmavati' sets vandalised: Sanjay Leela Bhansali's spokesperson BREAKS SILENCE on the SHOCKING incident!

This morning, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati sets in Kolhapur (Maharashtra) witnessed another unfortunate incident as come unidentified men torched the sets on fire the previous night, The said incident was reported in the afternoon today. The entire set was vandalised and apparently the area where the costumes were stored was lit with petrol bombs. 

Now, the company spokesperson of Bhansali Productions has opened up on the incident and given out an official statement on the turn of events. Here's what the statement read:

"The sets of Padmavati set in Kolhapur in Maharashtra region witnessed an unfortunate incident last night at around 12.30am, when certain miscreants attacked the film’s set and set it on fire in an attempt to damage the property. A complaint has been filed to investigate this matter further, but we are grateful that there has been no loss of life or harm to anybody on the set. While, thankfully the incident occurred after we had wrapped our shoot for the day and all the artists, cast and crew were safely away; unfortunately, around 70 – 80% of costumes and jewellery for the movie have been destroyed.” 

This is not the first time that the sets of the film has been attacked. Previously, SLB was attacked in Jaipur and the sets of his film was vandalised by activists of Rajput Karni Sena group. The film's unit was then shooting in the Jaigarh Fort of the Pink City.
