Padmavati in 2018: Another clash between Shah Rukh Khan and RanveerSingh-Deepika Padukone?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati is in the news every other day and now there is a rumour doing the rounds that the film will release in December 2018 and not December 2017 as scheduled. 

While Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor have given the director a chunk of dates, with SLB’s attention to detail and pursuit of perfection, punters are wondering if the film will be ready in December next year. 

However, an industry source says, “This is highly improbable. The film will release next year. How can Deepika not have a release in 2017? This is all speculation.” We agree. However, Bhansali had planned to take the film to the Cannes film festival in 2017, but now that doesn’t seem possible.

But having said that, if the film finally hits screens in December 2018, then it will be yet another clash between Shah Rukh Khan and the trio of Ranveer-Deepika and Sanjay. Why? SRK's Bandhua with Aanand Rai has already announced a Christmas 2018 release for the dwarf love-story.
