A court here today reserved its orders for July 4 on a plea from 'superstar' Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya seeking divorce from her husband with mutual consent.

Family Court Judge A D Maria Clete reserved the order and posted the matter to July 4 after Soundarya and her husband Aswin Ramkumar, who got married in 2010, appeared before her.

The couple, who have a son named Ved, had moved the court in December last year seeking divorce by mutual consent citing differences of opinion between them.

Soundarya, a graphic designer and filmmaker, had last year confirmed that she has separated from her industrialist husband and said divorce talks were on.

"News about my marriage is true. We have been separated for over a year and divorce talks are on. I request all to respect my family's privacy," the "Kochadaiiyaan" director had tweeted in September last year.
