Kabir Khan's directorial depicted the story of an ardent devotee of Hindu deity Hanuman, Bajrangi, who embarks on taking a mute six-year-old Pakistani girl, separated in India from her parents, back to her hometown in Pakistan.

The movie, which featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Harshaali Malhotra, was a hit at the box office and crossed Rs 300 crore at the domestic box office.
