Sudeep has every reason to be proud. His determination to bring laurels to Sandalwood has paid off, as the Karntaka Bulldozers won the cricket championship not so long ago. And since the win, accolades have been pouring in from various corners. “For all this victory and appreciation, the credit must go to all the members of the team. They made it possible,” says the actor.

Dismissing allegations of not encouraging many people from Sandalwood to be part of the cricket team, Sudeep clarifies that it was an open invitation for all. “I know there are a few allegations against me but there was no bias when the team was being chosen. I, on behalf of the Kannada Artiste’s Association, had sent more than 80 invites but only around 30 showed interest. We had to select the players from those 30,” he adds.

Cricket out of the way, Sudeep is soon going to be busy with the post production of his latest film, Bachchan, directed by Shashank. With the film’s trailer out and many other promotional activities in the pipeline, Sudeep has his batteries all charged for the future. “I am confident that my fans will enjoy watching this film. Its making is at par with most Bollywood films,” he assures us. Bachchan also stars Bhavana and Tulip Joshi, among others.
