OMG: Is this the reason behind the delay in release of Baahubali 2 trailer?

SS Rajamouli has created a world that everyone's fond of. While Baahubali became a blockbuster, one hadn't expected the kind of response it got, before its release. But with Baahubali 2 coming up this April, all eyes are on the team to make it yet another successful venture. 

But with the film coming up in two months, the team has only unveiled a few posters and motion posters from the film along with Virtual Reality video that shows the entire set of Baahubali. Point is - where's the trailer?

The theatrical promo was supposed to be launched with Shah Rukh Khan's Raees but the makers couldn't edit it by then. Now, SS Rajamouli has confirmed that it's releasing mid-March. 

Why the delay? Some are speculating that it's because of the extra VFX work that the makers had to do in the trailer. Anushka Shetty who plays the leading lady in the film has a certain body type in the first part which is not how she looks now. She couldn't go back to the same prototype and hence, the team had to edit her portions through special effects and make her look her part.

Rajamouli was quizzed about the same. He didn't deny it. He said that there are certain scenes of Anushka which are being worked upon. But he also added that it isn't the reason why there's been a delay in unveiling the trailer of Baahubali 2.
