OMG! Is Karan Johar going to replace Fawad Khan in 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'?

After issuing a notice to all the Pakistani artists, asking them to leave India by September 25, the MNS has now demanded that Karan Johar should replace Fawad Khan in his upcoming flick Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shah Rukh Khan should replace Mahira Khan in Raees, failing which they won't allow the said movies to to release in India.

This comes in the wake of the unfortunate Uri attacks in Kashmir in which 18 Indian soldiers lost their lives. The MNS has been demanding a ban on Pakistani artists in India which has sparked off the debate whether banning them is the solution to terrorism.

The entire tinsel town seems to be differing on the issue. While the likes of singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya have openly come out, lashing against Pakistani actors, there have been others like Varun Dhawan, Saif Ali Khan and Siddharth Malhotra, who feel that creativity and artists from all over the world flock to India and banning somebody on the basis of their nationality won't solve the problem.However, they also added that it's the government who should decide who should be allowed to work in India and who shouldn't.

Meanwhile, in a  press con, the General Secretary of MNS, Shalini Thackeray said that they are not trying to target Fawad Khan alone, but are against every Pakistani actor. She said, "We will not allow any Pakistani actor to work in Mumbai.” As of now, none of the Pakistani actors are there in India but replacing the actors in ADHM and Raees is highly unlikely to happen since the shooting of both the movies has been completed and their release dates have also been announced.
