OMG! Did you know about Shahid Kapoor's demands before confirming 'Padmavati'?

A lot has been spoken about Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next directorial venture Padmavati. While it has been reported that Deepika Padukone will be playing queen Padmavati and Shahid Kapoor will be essaying her husband in the film, we hear that Shahid didn't agree to do the role instantly.

On one hand Shahid will play Raja Rawal Ratan Singh, on the other hand Ranveer Singh will portray the rebellious Allauddin Khilji. But did you know that Shahid had his own set of conditions before agreeing to play DP's husband in the SLB film?

Considering that Shahid has just embraced fatherhood, he may not be ready to begin shooting immediately. As per reports, Shahid's spokesperson had already said that as of now Shahid's only focus is the well being of his newly born daughter and wife Mira Rajput. Moreover, word is going around that he won't begin shooting till September end. 

Now, buzz is that Shahid had also demanded some changes in the script before giving his consent for Padmavati. As reported by a tabloid, Shahid's precondition before signing the film was that it would be a love triangle and he would have an equal screen presence as Ranveer in the film. Apparently, Bhansali then reworked some parts of the script, keeping Shahid in mind and included some powerful monologues befitting the historic times. 

Now that Shahid's prerequisites are met, and the issues between Ranveer and SLB are sorted, we can expect another massive entertainer from SLB in the guise of Padmavati . Watch out this space for more.
