Olivia Wilde reveals how she got lead role in new film 'Meadowland'

Olivia Wilde reveals she begged first time director Reed Morano for lead role in upcoming film Meadowland.

The 31-year-old actress, who'll be playing the role of Sarah, a mother, who along with her husband spirals out of control after losing their son. Olivia confessed, the role was in huge demand by many, and requested Morano to let her prove the part is for her by performing some scenes at her apartment, Deadline.com reported. Morano agreed and had given some "great notes during that one hour".

Morano, who as an extensive resume, said that she wanted someone who was new to such role.
