Now, a sequel to 'Jhankaar Beats'

Rahul Bose, who starred in Jhankaar Beats, will produce a sequel to the film, reports a tabloid. Currently, he is busy with his directorial venture Poorna, a biopic on Malavath Poorna, the youngest girl to scale Mount Everest. The actor had made his directorial debut with Everybody Says I am Fine in 2001.

However, he only wants to produce and act in Jhankaar Beats. “Someone else will direct it,” he is quoted saying.

Rahul is also in the process of making a web series. The actor who has worked in regional films that include Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada is now interested in producing Marathi movies. “Marathi cinema is going through exciting times,” he is quoted saying. The actor wants to make films on unsung heroes in Maharashtra.
