Telugu director S S Rajamouli smashed box office records with Baahubali - The Beginning and is now working on part 2. On Tuesday, the National Awards were presented in Delhi and Rajampouli received the award for Best Film of 2015. Baahubali won several other awards as well as one for special effects.

While speaking to the media after the ceremony, Rajamouli was asked about whether he will also look at Hollywood films now. The director said he was not interested in Hollywood at this point as there are so many great stories to tell in India.

He was quoted as saying that he was inspired by the stories told by his grandmother including the stories of history of India and the country’s grandness. "I didn’t know back then that I would be a filmmaker, but yes, the stories stayed with me for long. Right now, I have Baahubali part two to offer, I would like to tell the stories of more kings of India. There are so many of them like Ashoka, Akbar, and Maharana Pratap. Their stories are inspiring," Rajamouli reportedly said.

The director has taken a month's break from shooting part 2 due to the scorching heat in Hyderabad. It is set to release in 2017.
