Not Hrithik Roshan but Shahid Kapoor was the first choice for 'Bang Bang'

Hrithik Roshan and Shahid Kapoor are coming face to face in an epic clash on October 2. Both their films- Bang Bang and Haider are releasing on the same date. But now, we hear that Hrithik was not the original choice for Bang Bang. In fact, it was Shahid who was approached for the role first. 

Shahid who was offered the role turned it down because he was worried about being compared to Tom Cruise. Bang Bang is an adaptation of Tom Cruise-Cameron Diaz's Knight and Day and had Shahid taken up the offer, he would have had to play Tom's role in the adaptation.

Nevertheless, as they say, someone's loss is someone's gain. Bang Bang has turned out to be one of the slickest and most stylish action film in Bollywood whereas Haider has bowled us over with its phenomenal trailer.
