NOT Fawad Khan but THIS other actor was the first choice for 'Kapoor & Sons'

The year 2016 gave us one of the most remarkable movies from Dharma Productions, Kapoor & Sons and Fawad Khan won a million hearts for the portrayal of his character in it. But did you know that he was not the first choice for the role?

Yes, Karan Johar himself revealed that Fawad was not the first choice for the said role. It was Saif Ali Khan who was approached for it first. This revelation happened on the latest episode of Koffee With Karan after which Saif seemingly looked regretful for rejecting it. Saif even went ahead to reveal how kareena called him 'stupid' for saying no to it. He said, "“And with a wife at home saying you have been incredibly stupid Shakun is one of the best directors you will work with.”
