A bitchy Actress called to say that Bhojpuri director Nitin N Chandraa, who slammed Priyanka Chopra's debut Bhojpuri production, Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kashi, calling it a 'vulgar and obscene' film is actress Neetu Chandraa's brother.

"Both of them produced the Mithila Makhaan (it was directed by Nitin). When PC's mother Dr Madhu Chopra was putting together their Bhojpuri project, Nitin had approached her to direct the film, but as she didn't find it feasible, it was rejected. Now the disgruntled brother-sister duo are whipping up a storm of protest in Bihar calling Pee Cee's film vulgar. When they decided to produce a Bhojpuri film, the Chopras were under no pretensions that it would be a hard-core, commercial entertainer which would appeal to the mass audiences. They needed to establish themselves as producers first. Just because Priyanka is doing Hollywood today and into serious cinema does not mean that her productions will be the same. And she and her mother have made no promises on that, so why the big fuss about Neetu and Nitin today?", she asks.

The source adds that Neetu is the last person to talk. "She has been telling people that she is fighting for her mother tongue, the Bhojpuri language, and the perennially stereotyped Bihari women in Bhojpuri cinema. Granted, Mithila Makhaan was the first film from Bihar and Jharkhand to get a National Award, but that does not mean she has the right to get on a high horse and lambast everyone from Alia Bhatt to Priyanka. Has Neetu forgotten the kind of cinema she did? Now, she and Nitin want to lash out at Pee Cee as they plan to hold a press conference. If that is not a publicity stunt, what is?"
