No Katrina Kaif film in 2013?

It looks like Katrina Kaif will not have a release in 2013. Both of Katrina’s ambitious action-adventure capers — Vijay Krishna Acharya’s Dhoom 3 and Siddharth Anand’s Bang Bang — are delayed due to Katrina’s co-stars.

Dhoom 3 might not have a  Christmas release, thanks to Aamir Khan’s penchant for perfection that makes him insist he would shoot only when he’s physically and emotionally fit for the villainous part. Yashraj’s spokesperson confirms there is no release date for Dhoom 3 yet.

Kat’s other film Bang Bang’s third schedule in Prague has been postponed indefinitely because of Hrithik’s emergency surgery for subdural haemotoma on Sunday afternoon. It would take at least 30-45 days before the star can get back to his feet .

A friend of the actress philosophises, “Such is life. Setbacks happen. One can’t sit and mope over it. It’s true Katrina gave all her dates to Dhoom 3 and Bang Bang and now she’s looking at a stretch of most unwarranted joblessness. Rather than sit around Katrina would now take off to be with her family in London for her birthday on July 16.”
