To begin work on Punit Malhotra film right after Milan Luthria’s flick.

Imran Khan began his year working on the promotions of his Vishal Bhardwaj film Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola. And soon after the film’s release the actor was to begin shooting for Punit Malhotra’s film that is being produced by Karan Johar. The film has now been titled Gori Tere Pyaar Mein and has Imran pair up with Kareena Kapoor once again after their last year’s hit outing in Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. Earlier the film’s schedule was to begin in February, but according to insiders it has been postponed and will now roll from March 1.

“The film has been named Gori Tere Pyaar Mein and the shoot will begin in early March,” confirms a source from the production house. However, instead of taking the time off from his hectic schedule during this time, Imran has plunged head on into working on Milan Luthria’s Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai. “Imran is very excited about teaming up with Kareena again, this time in Punit’s Gori Tere Pyaar Mein. But right now he’s also busy with Milan’s film that sees him in a completely new avatar. It will be the first time that Imran has been working on his character which is being completely kept under wraps,” says a source.

Talking about his mixed bag of films this year, Imran says that the year is going to be his busiest and the most challenging one so far. “The last thing I have on my mind right now is taking a break. I am really happy with the pace of work and can’t wait to start work on Punit’s film,” says Imran.
