Niall Horan would rather spend time with ex Ellie Goulding than Selena Gomez

One Direction star Niall Horan seems to have not forgotten former girlfriend Elli Goulding as he picked the singer's name to go on a date.

Horan, 23, was promoting his first solo single, 'This Town', on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Horan was seated with Isla Fisher, Ewan McGregor and Corden himself, at a table full of disgusting stuff to eat like, beef tongue, salmon smoothie, and scorpions. Participants of the show had to play a game called, 'Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts', in which they had to answer some difficult questions and upon failing to answer, stuff their faces with the offerings on the table.

At his turn, Horan was asked if it was the last day on Earth, who would he pick, Ellie Goulding or Selena Gomez to spend it with. He chose ex Goulding over Gomez citing the reason, "Okay, because it’s the last night on earth, Ellie is a big fan of ‘Planet Earth’ with David Attenborough, so I would watch that with her. So for that reason, Ellie Goulding.”

Goulding briefly dated Horan in 2013 and the former couple has remained friends.
