New York-based dance institute Bollywood Funk, has invited Huma Qureshi to visit their studio there next month. Formed in 2007, BFunk is a dance institution specialising in urban, contemporary and Bollywood dance with a NYC attitude. The invite was extended to her while she was in New York visiting the Google headquarters and speaking at the United Nation’s women’s forum. Huma will meet the students there and also watch their performances on popular Bollywood songs on her next trip to New York. The actress says, “It should be fun to go to this institute. Indian songs and dance have a special place in all our films and hearts. It would be nice to see how New Yorkers have interpreted Hindi film songs.”
