New serial 'Amita Ka Amit' to be launched in January

Producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary who made Phulwa and Navya is back with another show Amita Ka Amit. According to sources, everything is being kept under wraps now as the serial will start airing from January second week on Sony. The story is about the dreams of two average Gujarati youngsters Amit and Amita and their families based in Mumbai. 

While Amita is an Arts graduate, Amit is a stock broker. Two ordinary people with extraordinary expectations from their spouses. Circumstances bring them together and they get married, but they don’t fit into the image of their dream partners.

The serial stars newcomers Chandani Bhawnani and Nishad Vaidya in the lead roles and Neha Saxena who shot to fame as Dhaani in Sajan Ghar Jana Hai will be seen as Preeti who is Amita’s best friend in the show.
