Nepal Earthquake: PM Narendra Modi thanks Amitabh Bachchan for donating Rs 11 lakh to Nepal's relief fund

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amitabh Bachchan have always shared a great rapport. While the mega star donated Rs 11 lakh for the Prime Minister's Relief Fund for the Nepal Earthquake victims, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to thank Big B for the same. 

"I thank @SrBachchan ji for donating Rs. 11 lakhs to the PMNRF for Nepal Earthquake Relief. This is a very kind & compassionate gesture," he wrote on Twitter.

The Nepal earthquake which has caused havoc in the past few weeks has led to a loss of huge property and lives in the neighbouring country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ensured that Nepal gets all the help they need from India and has also called for a Relief Fund for the neighbouring country. Amitabh Bachchan contributed to the fund, donating Rs 11 lakh, for which Modi thanked the megastar on the social networking site. 

With prominent faces like Amitabh Bachchan also coming together and donating to the relief fund, we hope Nepal is soon back to its feet again.
