Need some space?

We often crave for some space while travelling on a plane. And this accessory claims that this will the answer to all your troubles. It aims to provide you with a room to store your valuables, double up as a pillow, and at the same time give you some privacy. It's called 'b-tourist' and has recently found its way in the travel industry. However, we don't know how your fellow passengers might react to this travel accessory that creates a screen between you and the person sitting next to you. It has been created by designers Idan Noyberg and Gal Bulka.

The giant loop of elastic fabric is designed to be stretched between two seat headrests. It forms a partition that allows the user to seal themselves off from their surroundings. The partition made of fabric also comes with two screens that can help you lessen or increase the width of the partition.

There's also a cloth around your neck which helps you get some sleep. The attachment also comes with a pocket that can be useful to store books and other accessories.
The aim behind creating it was obviously to give the owner their space to eat, read or watch a movie, without any hassle. The designers point that b-tourist is easy to pack and can be carried without any trouble. But we have a feeling that it wont make you popular with co-passengers. If you occupy the aisle seat, it would be extremely inconvenient for the person sitting in the middle or the window seat. Similarly if you are occupying the window seat then your will end up blocking the view of those sitting next to you.
