Nayanthara's role in Sivakarthikeyan film better than 'Thani Oruvan', says Jayam Raja

It has officially been confirmed that Nayanthara will be seen in Sivakarthikeyan's new film with director Jayam Raja. This is Nayanthara's first film with the actor. She worked with Jayam Raja in the 2015 film Thani Oruvan which went to become a blockbuster in Tamil cinema. 

Speaking exclusively to dna, director Jayam Raja confirmed that Nayanthara has been signed on. He also reveals a little about her character. "Thani Oruvan's Mahima was due to our mutual understanding about the character. Nayanthara and I both believe that we can do much better work together in bringing out yet another solid heroine role. We will bring more strength in substance and content," Jayam Raja said.

He also said that Nayanthara suited the character to a T in this new film which will go on floors in July. 

In recent years, Nayanthara has been playing strong roles as heroine and this film could be another feather on her cap.

Director Jayam Raja had a fantastic 2015 and it looks like 2016 will also be another great year for him. He broke many stereotypes with Thani Oruvan and is likely to do that with his next film too. The film with Sivakarthikeyan is being produced by the actor's production banner 24AM Studios.
