Naseeruddin Shah wants to win an award for his book!

His autobiography has been a subject of discussion much before it was launched. And it received rave reviews, from fans and critics alike, when they read Naseeruddin Shah's sparkling memoir of his early years, 'from zero to thirty-two, – And Then One Day. Now we hear that the thespian has bagged another laurel to his credit. His debut book has been shortlisted for First Book Award at Tata Literature Fest, to be held at NCPA from end of this month. Shah been bestowed with many awards due to his work in cinema and theatre, including the Padma Shree. And though he doesn't give much importance to trophies, it looks like he is looking forward to this one. "If I win it, I will certainly feel better than when I won my first acting award. I enjoyed writing this so much that I am now feeling a little lost," he says. When asked if he will continue to write some more, Shah says, "I do feel like writing but don't know what to write about. I doubt if I will write a sequel to this book though. Fiction perhaps or a fictionalised autobiography!"
