Rumours about Director and Producer Amrit Vipul Shah's Namaste London, to have it's sequel by the name of Namaste England have been doing the rounds for quite sometime now. Namaste London, a box office hit of 2007, starred Akshay Kumar, Katrina Katrina Kaif and Rishi Kapoor in the leads, where Kapoor played Kat's father in the movie which was a love story between two extremes.

Vipul Shah after receiving a noticeable success for Namastey London this time too has planned Akshay Kumar as the lead but a different actress for the sequel. There haven't been any updates about the movie for quite sometime. Akshay has been already working on his ongoing projects Toilet- Ek Prem Katha, Padman and Reema Kagti's Gold. The actor will also be seen in a negative role in Rajnikanth's 2.0.

However Vipul Shah now is planning to rope in Arjun Kapoor as Akshay's replacement in the movie and to move ahead with the project. a MidDay report suggests that because of Akshay Kumar's lack of time, Vipul Shah has approached Arjun Kapoor for the movie. Arjun Kapoor has been doing good at the box office with his last two films Ki & Ka and Half Girlfriend that released in May this year. The movie will have a different story, a fresh concept but the title will be worked upon by the team.
