Nach Baliye 7 is possibly one of the most celebrated dance reality shows on Indian television. With a lot of ups, downs, hiccups and controversies surrounding the seventh edition of the show, Nach Baliye 7 has been more of a volatile journey. But has it been able to rake in good TRPs? Yes, it has. With Chetan Bhagat's shocking one liners, the contestants cribbing and fighting every moment, the TRPs have been moderately decent.
Now that the show has reached its ultimate end when one of the couple will walk away with the coveted trophy, here's a lowdown on who might possibly clinch the cup and why!
Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna:
Why they might win? They are a brand of their own and are the most popular faces on Nach Baliye. After Bigg Boss, this is the first time they have appeared on a TV show together and their recall value is immense. Plus, they have a dedicated fan base voting for them.
Why they might not win? They are the obvious contenders to the throne. When have you seen the obvious one walk away with the trophy? Never! Reality shows are famous for their element of surprise and if Nach Baliye makers also decided to go by that formula, UpMa is not winning for sure.
Nandish Sandhu and Rashami Desai:
Why they might win? They have sparked the maximum amount of controversies and protests inside the NB house and given that Rashami has already spoken about her failed marriage, miscarriage and everything else on a public platform, the sentimental Indian audiences might just get swayed and start voting for the couple.
Why they might not win? Their emotional stories might as well backfire for them. If there would be a section of the audience sympathising with them, there's also a fraction who would call it a 'publicty gimmick to gain sympathy'. Either ways, they will not have the majority. So they won't win!
Himmanshoo Malhotra and Amruta Khanvilkar:
Why they might win? Despite being the underdogs, they are the surprise packages on the show. Plus, they have grown as dancers through the course of the show. Outperforming all their contemporaries, Himmanshoo and Amruta have been consistent on the show and it won't be surprising if they lifted the NB trophy. Also, a recent poll conducted showed that they are the most popular couple on the show. Period.
Why they might not win? They might have reached a wide fan base through the show but they aren't still as strong a brand as Upen and Karishma. And now that it's almost evident that they are most likely to win, the channel might decide otherwise. Shock value, you see!
Mayuresh Wadkar and Ajisha Shah:
Why they might win? They are trained dancers. Be it themes, concept, technique or style- Mayuresh and Ajisha can give all the other couples a run for their money.
Why they might not win? At the end, they are wild card entries. Hardly do we see wild card entries win the show. Also, hardly have we seen the most deserving to win a reality show. All these age-old reality TV formulae go against the couple.
