It was just a few months ago that the former Chief Minister of Karnataka HD Kumaraswamy met Infosys chairman-emirutus NR Nayarana Murthy. According to a leading daily, now actor Nikhil Gowda, Kumaraswamy's son, is shooting his film at the Infosys campus in Mysuru. It is in fact, the first movie to be ever shot in the campus.

Nikhil Gowda is making his acting debut in a Kannada film titled Jaguar. Most of the film is reportedly being shot on the large Infosys campus in Mysuru. It is also reported that the budget for this film is Rs 60 crore - a very big budget for a Kannada film. It is rumoured to be the most expensive Kannada movie to ever be made. The actor's screen name will be Nikhil Kumar.

The report adds that many film crews have asked for permission to shoot at the Infosys campus in Mysuru in the past but were not obliged. Some filmmakers who approached Infosys include those from Puneeth Rajkumar-starrer Ninnindale and Upendra's Super.

Usually, a fee is charged when a film crew wants to shoot at a location which is private, but the report quotes members from the Jaguar crew as saying that they were not being charged anything. The crew will be shooting for a period of 40 days in the campus.
