The mystery behind the graffiti painted outside Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's house Mannat has come to a conclusion. The graffiti was nothing but a promotional gimmick for the actor's upcoming film Fan, the teaser of which was released on Thursday.

The graffiti on Mannat's wall said 'love you SRK c u on 15th'. The messages were signed by 'Gaurav'.

The 'Don' actor even posted on Twitter expressing shock over the graffiti.

"U can’t leave ur house for a day without sum one messing with it!! Shocked!!!," he had said on Wednesday.

While on Wednesday there was a cloud over who may have done it and what the message on the graffiti by 'Gaurav' exactly meant, after the release of the teaser promo, the puzzle has been solved.

The film is slated to release on April 15 next year and that is what 'c u on 15th' meant. And in the teaser, SRK, who essays the role of a fan of SRK himself, is named 'Gaurav'. Towards the end of the teaser one can hear a voiceover saying, "Lo aa gaya, Gaurav".

Directed by Maneesh Sharma and starring Waluscha D'Souza and produced by Yash Raj Films, Fan revolves around the journey of a superstar's look-alike fan.
