Puneet Issar feels that evicted contestants are jealous that he stayed there longer than them
Puneet Issar will be remembered as one of the most controversial contestants on Bigg Boss. Evicted this weekend, he talks about all the controversies that haunted his three-and-a-half month sojourn in the reality show.
On his stint
I am proud to say no contestant of my age, 56, has lasted for 105 days in Bigg Boss. Others my age have been out after four-five weeks.You can check the records. As far as I am concerned I've emerged a winner.
On his boorish behaviour
Who found my behaviour objectionable? It was members of the so-called bedroom gang who came out of Bigg Boss lashing out at me. Members of the P3G group were with me. 12-13 contestants who were evicted earlier came out bitching about me. They were bad losers. They felt I masterminded their eviction. But I am a nobody! The most that I could have done was to nominate them for eviction. Do you know I was nominated 13 times during my 15-week stay in Bigg Boss? But they couldn't get me out.
Being fair
To come out and blame me was such a sad thing. But I can understand their frustrations and embarrassment. Kya mooh leke woh baahar ho gaye! Ek baar nominated, and they were out. They made a scapegoat of me. My sympathies are with the bad losers.They couldn't bear the fact that a man twice their age lasted much longer than they did in Bigg Boss.
Getting physical with Aarya Babbar
It was an act. I had warned Aarya, 'Beta,humein bal ka prayog nahin karna chahiye.Aapko chot lag jayegi.' But he insisted, maybe because he's a young and strong man. After three warnings, I relented. I'd never hurt Aarya intentionally. Did I abuse him, hurt him? He made a big issue out of it. His intention was to get me out of Bigg Boss.
