Bollywood’s multi-faceted actor Randeep Hooda, who is also an avid sportsperson, says he has big plans for his recently bought Polo team.

The Highway star said, "Throughout my life, I have always listened to myself. There are many things that I still want to do. I also want to make my polo team Royal Roosters a big brand soon," he said. Randeep was present with ace model Milind Soman at the launch of a new range of Old Spice deodorants.

Commenting on the stagnant position of other sports in India, Randeep said, "The sports bodies should be selected democratically, rather than politically. This could help address the major problems faced by our sportsmen. Also, we should get rid of the notion in our heads that we can't win," he emphasised.

Randeep is currently on a promotional spree for his upcoming period drama Rang Rasiya. When asked about the project, the actor shares that the film is a love story between iconic painter Raja Ravi Varma and his muse.

Talking about what he did to prepare for the role, Randeep says, "I learnt painting, to an extent that it doesn't look fake on screen. It was difficult to imitate Raja Ravi Varma as we did not have any audio-visual reference. We observed the few black and white pictures we had to create the look, the rest of the attributes are half Randeep Hooda and half Ketan Mehta."

Directed by Ketan Mehta and produced by Deepa Sahi, Rang Rasiya is slated to hit the silver screen on November 7.
