National crush Priya Prakash Varrier shot to fame around the Valentine's Week last year when a short clip of her winking scene in the song Manikya Malaraya Poovi from the film Oru Adaar Love went viral. The Malayalam actress emerged as the National love interest and beat even Sunny Leone in Google search trends soon after. In a recent interview, the lead actress of the film Noorin Shereef revealed that her rile was sidelined after Priya's wink went viral. 

Manorama Online quoted Noorin as saying, "I was actually very happy when Omar Lulu selected me as the heroine in the movie. But as Priya Prakash Varrier's wink went viral, makers changed the entire storyline of the movie and my character was a bit sidelined. I actually felt very disappointed when my character lost its importance as this was my first offer to act in the lead role," reports India Today

Noorin was seen romancing the actor Roshan Abdul Rahoof in the film which has been directed by Omar Lulu. The film Oru Adaar Love became the talk of the town owing to Priya's winking act, finally saw its release this year on Valentine's Day

The movie was panned by the critics as it opened to negative reviews, especially its climax earned a lot of flak post which the director informed that they've shot a fresh climax for the film. In the initial climax, Roshan's character ends up dying while Noorin's character was raped. It was on this account that the netizens ended up ostraciizing the film on Twitter. Post that the makers had to change its climax.
