Muscat girl, Amira, gets her dream date with idol Shah Rukh Khan

There are millions of girls who dream of being in the same room as Shah Rukh Khan, not to mention get a chance to talk to him, touch him and be ‘woo-ed’ by him with a song and dance. But one lucky girl — Amira from Muscat — got to do all that at the Temptation Reloaded event, recently. It is reminiscent of the Bruce Springsteen show from many decades ago, when he called a girl from the crowd to sing and dance with him on his song Dancing In The Dark. The girl in question went on to become a celebrity herself. She is none other than Courtney Cox who played Monica Geller in Friends.

We don’t know if Amira will become a celebrity in her own right but following this stage appearance she will soon become a missus! She plans to marry her boyfriend who made it possible for her to be with her idol! Amira, a student from Oman, not only got to see SRK in person, she also had an opportunity to groove with him on stage. It so happened that her boyfriend knowing she is a fan of SRK, got the tickets for the show as a Valentine gift. And Amira had no idea what was awaiting her at the event.

Says a source who was present at the show, “The girl was sitting in one of the front rows, and by chance SRK happened to call her on stage. She couldn’t believe her luck and initially just started crying. Soon, she was given a costume to wear and she danced to a couple of romantic SRK numbers including Aankhon Mein Teri and Main Koi Aisa Geet Gaun with him. She was so overwhelmed that she said she will marry her boyfriend at the earliest as he had fulfilled her wish.”
