'Munna Bhai MBBS' actor Vishal Thakkar accused of rape, goes missing

In a shocking revelation, actor Vishal Thakkar, who was seen in various TV shows and hit Bollywood films like Munna Bhai MBBS, Chandni Bar was recently accused of 'rape' by his alleged girlfriend.

In a report given by a leading English daily, his girlfriend had even lodged a police complaint against the actor. However, according to various reports in the media, he has been missing since January 1, 2016 with there being no traces of his whereabouts. 

It is also said that the duo had sorted out their differences and even the complaint was withdrawn. Reports even suggest that Vishal was alleged of being mentally disturbed due to his failure to get work, his image was further tarnished due to the rape controversy.  

On December 31, 2015, he had gone for a movie with his girlfriend and since then, Vishal has never returned home. It was none other than Vishal's mother who confirmed the news to a website and also added that the cause of his depression was because of the 'rapist' tag. 

His mother had registered a police complaint on January 6, 2016 but since his phone has been switched off, police are unable to locate him.
