The Celebrity Cricket League’s Bollywood team, Mumbai Heroes, is all set to play its first match on February 9 in Kochi. Suniel Shetty, captain of the Sohail Khan-owned team, reveals that his boys are all set to give their best for the 3rd season of the CCL.

“We will be taking on Mohanlal’s team on their home ground, and it won’t be easy with an expected crowd of 60,000-plus cheering for them. But we all have been practicing daily with dedication and hope to begin on a winning note,” says Suniel.

The actor reveals that they are yet to announce the final 15 of the 22 players. “Looking at the net practice I must admit that it’s going to be a tough choice. All of them are doing their best,” says the Bolly star.

Aftab Shivdasani, who’s the vice-captain of the team, comprising a mix of B-Towners as well as TV stars, refuses to consider any one team as the toughest competition. “Cricket is an unpredictable game, so right now all teams are on the same ground. All we are thinking of right now is to give our best shot,” he says.

Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Kangna Ranaut, Chitrangada Singh and Nargis Fakhri are the brand ambassadors of the team.
