Verdict - With Marvel's phase two in motion, Thor doesn't dissapoint. Brilliant acting, ever moving character development, great story line and just enough action; Thor: The Dark World is a must see. And with Joss Whedon overseeing the Marvel projects, you just can't go wrong.

Ass Backwards

Loveable losers Kate and Chloe (June Diane Raphael and Casey Wilson) are best friends with a not so firm grip on reality. The girls have been inseparable ever since tying for dead last at a kiddie beauty pageant as children. Now they are all grown up and living in New York City, where Chloe is a 'rising star' dancing in a glass box at a nightclub and Kate is the 'CEO' of her own one-woman egg-donor corporation. Their past humiliations at the pageant remain long forgotten until they receive an invitation to the pageant`s milestone anniversary celebration. With the unpleasant memories flooding back, Kate and Chloe decide to redeem themselves and take a roadtrip back to their hometown and win the elusive crown.

Cast - June Diane Raphael, Vincent D`Onofrio , Jon Cryer, Casey Wilson, Alicia Silverstone , Brian Geraghty

Director - Chris Nelson

Verdict - Many movies try the reunine angle and many seem to find the right footing and make it work. This is not one of those movies. The movie is a one time watch at best.

Billy & Buddy

The film is a beautiful tale of a friendship that buds between a cocker spaniel and a young boy.Cocker spaniel lies dejectedly in its cage dreaming of a perfect master when a young boy walks in. It is love at first sight for both of them. It is begining of a bond for the dog and the boy while it is nothing but trouble for the parents of the boy.

Cast - Franck Dubosc , Charles Crombez , Jean-Jacques Domingu, Marina Fois , Nicolas Vaude

Director - Franck Magnier, Alexandre Charlot

Verdict - Based on original art work and comic strips by Roba, the family film plays with your heartstrings and but doesn't really resound the feelings of the original. Good family movie, kids might enjoy it.

Best Man Down

The best man at Scott (Long) and Kristin's (Weixler) Arizona destination wedding, Lumpy (Labine) is the life of the party, until a long, indulgent night leads to his untimely death. Forced to cancel their honeymoon and fly back to Minneapolis to arrange for his funeral, Scott and Kristin meet Ramsey (Timlin) and learn that Lumpy isn't quite who they thought he was.

Cast - Justin Long, Tyler Labine , Jess Weixler , Addison Timlin , Frances O`Connor , Shelley Long

Director - Ted Koland

Verdict - With the surprising trend of Romcoms, there are too many of these generic movies out there. However, Best Man Down isn't all that bad, and Justin Long does a stellar job. I would give this one a watch.
